Switching from MyFitnessPal?
You're not alone.

MyFitnessPal is powerful, but barcode scanning and newer planning tools sit behind subscriptions. DailyLabel keeps logging simple: free barcode scanning, no account, private iCloud sync, and a $4.99 one-time Pro upgrade.

Questions people ask

Is DailyLabel really free?

The free tier covers daily food logging with Calories plus 10 standard nutrient rows on the Nutrition Facts label, free barcode scanning, editable nutrient values, and iCloud sync. Pro ($4.99 one-time) adds optional label customization from 150+ nutrient definitions, add-to-food nutrient editing, trends charts, and CSV/PDF export. No subscription ever.

Where does the nutrition data come from?

Two sources: USDA FoodData Central (government-verified, the same database dietitians use) for whole and raw foods, and Open Food Facts (millions of barcoded products worldwide) for packaged items. Every food shows a source badge so you know where the data came from.

Can I import my data from MyFitnessPal?

Not currently. MyFitnessPal has report and export tools in some plans, but DailyLabel does not import those files yet. Switching is still quick: DailyLabel has no account requirement and minimal setup, so most people are logging normally within a few minutes.

Does it work on Android?

DailyLabel is iPhone only right now (iOS 18+). Android and broader platform support are something we're considering based on demand.

What about my privacy?

DailyLabel is local-first. Your data stays on your device and optionally syncs via your personal iCloud account. No account required, no third-party analytics, no data selling.
