Sound familiar?

"Lose It! is great for weight loss, but I want more nutrient context."
DailyLabel Pro tracks 150+ nutrient definitions when source data is available, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and fatty acids. The whole point is seeing the day like a Nutrition Facts label.
"I want to track micronutrients, not just calories and protein."
DailyLabel is built for deeper nutrition context. When source data provides values, you can surface iron, calcium, magnesium, B vitamins, omega-3s, amino acids, and more.
"I do not want another food-tracking subscription."
$4.99 once. No annual charges. No renewal surprises. Own the app permanently.
"I don't need social features. I just want private nutrition tracking."
DailyLabel is solo and private by design. Your data stays on your device and your iCloud account. No account, no groups, no leaderboards.
"Another subscription eating into my monthly budget."
DailyLabel is a one-time purchase. Track forever without paying again. If subscription pricing changes, your DailyLabel Pro unlock does not.

Questions people ask

Does DailyLabel help with weight loss?

DailyLabel tracks the nutrients available for each food in the USDA and Open Food Facts databases, including calories. You can set daily calorie goals and monitor intake. However, it doesn't have dedicated weight loss features like Lose It! (weight tracker, calorie budgets, weight loss guides). If weight tracking is your primary need, Lose It! has specialized tools. DailyLabel is best for people who want detailed nutrition data beyond just calories.

Does DailyLabel have barcode scanning?

Yes. Barcode scanning is free in DailyLabel. Scan any product barcode and get nutrition data from both USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts. Lose It! also offers scanning, but DailyLabel's results come from two transparent, verified databases instead of a proprietary one.

Can I import my Lose It! data?

Not currently. DailyLabel does not import Lose It! data today, and the systems store data differently. Switching is still simple: DailyLabel has no account requirement and minimal setup, so most people are logging normally within a few minutes of opening the app.

Does DailyLabel have social features like Lose It!'s challenges and groups?

No. DailyLabel is designed for private, individual tracking. No challenges, no friend lists, no leaderboards. If you value the community aspect of Lose It!, that's one thing DailyLabel intentionally doesn't offer.

What about my privacy?

DailyLabel is local-first. Your food log stays on your device and optionally syncs via your personal iCloud account using CloudKit. No account required, no third-party tracking, no data selling. Lose It! requires an account and stores your data on their servers.

Can I use DailyLabel on Android?

DailyLabel is iPhone only right now (iOS 18+). Lose It! is available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Android. Android and broader platform support are something we're considering based on demand.
