Daily Values guide

Daily Values explained.

Daily Values give nutrition numbers context. They help answer a simple question: how much of a daily target does this food, meal, or day represent?

What % Daily Value means.

Percent Daily Value shows how much a nutrient contributes to a daily diet. A packaged-food label shows it per serving. DailyLabel applies the same concept to everything you have logged for the day.

Why it is more useful than a raw number alone.

A number like 245 mg sodium is easier to judge when you can also see how it compares with a daily goal. Daily Values turn a nutrient amount into a quick progress signal.

DailyLabel shows goal, intake, and percent together.

The dashboard places goals on the left and today's intake on the right. When a value is over the goal, DailyLabel highlights it in red so it is not buried in the rest of the label.

Customization matters.

General Daily Values are a starting point. DailyLabel lets you adjust goals, and Pro lets you track additional nutrient definitions when the data source provides them.
